Newfoundland & Wild Labrador
From: $2,000 CAD
Our Newfoundland & Wild Labrador cruise starts in St. Pierre, France and ends in Iqualuit, Nunavut. We will explore the scenic coastline of Newfoundland, including Battle Harbour where you can step back in time and experience life as it was in the 1800s. Take a hike in the spectacular Tablelands at Gros Morne National Park, and revel in the spectacular geology and learn about the unique natural history of the area, with a desert-like landscape.
Experience Inuit culture in Nain, the capital of Nunatsiavut. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the community through walking tours and scenic hikes, as you create meaningful cultural connections.
We will spend four days exploring the stunning Torngat Mountain National Park. Here you will find some of the tallest mountains in Canada east of the Rockies, which form the backdrop to this national park. Marvel at the gorgeous fjords and take a hike on this tundra landscape. Visiting the Torngats is simply unbeatable!
Finally, we will sail in early summer ice through the Hudson Strait and admire the beauty of Frobisher Bay, named for bygone explorer Martin Frobisher. Stay on the lookout for wildlife, such as polar bears, seabirds, walruses, and distinct species of whales and seals.
